It\u2019s been a fairly eventful year of health concerns for myself and loved ones. I understand that diseases are a circumstance of the world and that Brighid is a source of healing and not of strife. However, I feel that life\u2019s experiences can be likened to the transformation of a smith\u2019s hammer, molding me into something else.<\/p>

Slow Time<\/h3>

A while ago<\/p>

I asked You,<\/p>

What are you shaping me into?<\/p>

Each event is a hammer\u2019s ring,<\/p>

a bit more taken off,<\/p>

another edge smoothed.<\/p>

Am I to be something stronger,<\/p>

perhaps with some form or function?<\/p>

Is the unknowing part of Your technique?<\/p>

Will I be someone wiser, more understanding?<\/p>

Will time be not taken for granted?<\/p>

Will I have answers to these questions?<\/p>

Each of these queries<\/p>

is a sign in the dark,<\/p>

both radiant and obscure.<\/p>

It\u2019s not any clearer now,<\/p>

as it\u2019s Slow Time,<\/p>

a liminal period of uncertainty.<\/p>

Days seem like weeks,<\/p>

weeks like a month,<\/p>

a year a long eternity.<\/p>

Among the bright, happy sparks<\/p>

and the darkened road of now,<\/p>

I look to You.<\/p>

With uncertainty on the horizon,<\/p>

guide me to family and love,<\/p>

lead me to where my heart should be.<\/p>
